None. Life Battery has no user accounts and no backend. The information you enter — such as your birth year, sex, smoking and drinking answers, and your daily wrap-ups (drinks, fruit & vegetables, cigarettes) — is stored only in the app's private storage on your own iPhone. It is never uploaded, transmitted, or seen by us or anyone else.
If you allow it, Life Battery reads the following from Apple Health on your iPhone: workouts (from any app, such as Apple Watch, Nike Run Club, Strava or Garmin Connect), exercise minutes, step count, sleep, height and body weight. It uses them only to calculate each day's charge on your device. Life Battery never writes to Apple Health, never sends Health data off your iPhone, never stores it in iCloud, and never uses it for advertising or marketing. You can change or revoke access at any time in the Health app › Profile › Apps › Life Battery.
The Lock Screen and Home Screen widgets read a small summary (your battery level) that the app saves in storage shared only between the app and its widget on your device.
Life Battery contains no analytics tools, no advertising SDKs, and no third-party trackers. We do not use cookies or device identifiers, and we do not track you across apps or websites.
If you turn on the optional daily reminder, Life Battery schedules a local notification on your device. This is handled entirely by iOS and does not send any data off your phone.
You are always in full control. Open Settings inside the app and tap "Erase everything" to permanently erase everything. Deleting the app from your iPhone also removes all of its data.
Life Battery is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, of any age.
Life Battery's numbers are estimates from population statistics (national life tables and published research, listed in the app under Settings › Method & sources). They are not medical advice, a diagnosis, or a forecast for any individual. Please consult a healthcare professional for health matters.
